Before the leaves begin to turn, Opera in the Pines presents Make Our Garden Grow, an operatic harvest celebrating Maine’s changing seasons and the simple joy of gathering together at Wanderwood, a working organic farm in Nobleboro. Inspired by the timeless style of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, this one-of-a-kind evening journeys through summer, fall, winter, and spring with seasonal forecasts, folklore, and, of course, opera.

Featuring four exceptional singers from our past and upcoming productions, joined by piano accompaniment, each season comes to life with music inspired by nature, growth, renewal, and home. Along the way, audiences will discover more about the company’s work, take part in interactive moments, and be the first to learn about our next mainstage production.

Guests are invited to enjoy light bites, sip drinks available for purchase, and create your own arrangement at our seasonal bouquet bar, honoring the beauty and abundance of the harvest. Whether you come to connect with longtime friends, meet new ones, or looking to discover something new, this gathering is a chance to celebrate community, creativity, and the seeds we plant together.
